The main topic of research for BA6 is the potential of items being able to be preserved and replicated through 3D Models and so after modeling my bench, I have been looking into its links and potential to be an item which has been 'preserved'. By looking into the bench's background, and environment I think that its design could be a preservation of a certain rural style - which otherwise might be lost (if for example the skill is no longer taught).
So as part of my research into my bench's heritage, I took a closer look at the website where it is sold;

And found that it is made, and inspired by the Welsh landscape of The Snowdonia National Park. As you can image, these next images are of that area.
