Revised Plot

TIME LINE
3rd Sept 1939– Britain declares war on Germany.
10th May 1940 – Churchill becomes Prime Minister
10th May 1940 – Battle of France (Germanys advance towards Dunkirk) (British troops already in place at this point to prevent the invasion of France).
14th May 1940 – Set up of the Home Guard
24th May 1940 - Germany halted their advance on Dunkirk ('The Halt Order')
26th May 1940 – The beginning of the Retreat of Dunkirk (First few scenes of the game)
The French soldiers are holding the Nazis at bay whilst the British are retreating. The brother is part of an elite task force which are then dropped into France in order to intercept french forces and effectively work on the inside collecting intelligence from the french front lines for the British military back in England. (Inspiration from a unit which were left behind at Dunkirk which were massacred by the Germans - we want to re-write this bit of history and have the British captured troops kill the Germans who had captured them (for example a bomb goes off nearby distracting them etc) the British then take on the roles of these Germans and work as spys for the British)
27th May 1940 – 340,000 Soldiers evacuate from Dunkirk
4th June 1940 – Last of 338,000 Soldiers evacuated
9th July 1940 - RAF Bomber Command start night raids on Germany
10 July 1940 – The beginning of the battle of Britain
22nd July 1940 – Special Operations Executives formed (SOE) Followed by the Auxillary Units.
31st October 1940 – The end of the Battle of Britain ( Beginning of the blitz)
10th May 1941 – German Air Raids Damage the House of Commons in London
22nd June 1941 – Germany Invades Russia
8th Dec 1941 – United States joins war after 7th Dec – Pearl Harbour
26th Jan 1942 – US Troops Arrive in Northern Ireland
19 August 1942 – Raid of Dieppe
This is where the Canadians and the English do their 'hit and run' of Dieppe. The Germans then mis-interpret these beach offenses as the British trying to take over Nazi-occupied France and decide to once more launch an attack on England. This is where the British spies in the German forces break cover and then fight on the side of the British.

Robin Silcock

I am a Second Year Games Art and Design student at Norwich University of the Arts. After exploration of a number of roles in my first year, I am now looking to graduate as a 3D Artist with applicable skills in Maya, Mudbox, ZBrush and Photoshop. I understand that my skills in this field are not there yet - but I aim to achieve this goal through consistently working through the programs in my University and Personal Projects. I love to be busy - I have always had a lot of things on my plate since the age of 7 where I successfully balanced school with Ballet, Tap, Horse-Riding, French, Piano and Singing Lessons! In the same fashion, my university schedule is just as hectic and varied; I am a Peer Mentor to first year students, Student Rep for Second Year, and President of the Enterprise Society. Like I said, I love to be busy! I am a Games Hippie - so to speak - I believe that Games if designed and harnessed in the right way, will be able to help solve many of the global issues we have today - even if it starts off in a small way. Just look at the positive effects that Facebook and Twitter have already had... When navigating my blog;
  • Works in Progress - This section is a constantly running account of all my current projects - personal and for university. It will contain reference images and website links and sometimes less than coherent posts, so be prepared!
  • Finished Pieces - This is where you will find my more polished artwork. Looking for help with Maya? Check out the posts tagged "Maya How-To's"
