In between my latest efforts at rekindling my 'love' for Maya I have been distracting myself with Photoshop projects of my own. This little girl originated from a doodle on the train, and so far I have put about 3hours into her. This has mainly been concentrated on her face and overall proportions. However after finishing her face in part, I think that her body is now too long and so shall go back again and re-draw. I am very proud of her eyes which I wanted to hole an eerie quality to them. Yes she has a ridiculous amount of bows! This is my homage to my studies earlier this year into Japan's love of all things cute (kuwaii). Below are the images I have looked at so far for inspiration.
